Taking a hiatus from working in the internet industry, I went back to school to pursue my passion for museums, and to apply my design skills to the telling of history.

HI-Ottawa Jail Hostel, 2007-2008

Exhibit research, texts, and designs were completed as part of a field placement for the HI-Ottawa Jail Hostel (residing in Ottawa’s historic jail). I worked on the exhibit fabrication and installation after graduation.

 

Bytown Museum, 2006-2007

A year-long special project for a local museum. Working with two other classmates, it included the creation of a temporary exhibit theme, content, design and texts; and then was fabricated and installed by the end of the school year.
